## About the Role

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Linux support?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

 * Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role. Experience in a construction or contractor environment is a plus.
 * Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and common IT tools.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving IT issues.
 * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to Greensboro, NC, and other job sites as required.

## Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations both in our Raleigh office and on various job sites. This role requires some travel to our Greensboro location and other project sites on a regular basis., * Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware and software issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with computers, network systems, and other IT equipment.

 * System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades on IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
 * Installation and Setup: Set up and configure new hardware and software. Assist with the installation of IT equipment on job sites as needed.
 * Network Management: Monitor and manage network performance, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Ensure network security and resolve connectivity issues.
 * Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities. Create and update documentation for IT procedures and policies.
 * Travel Requirements: Travel to our Greensboro location and other job sites as required to support IT needs on various projects.
 * Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to understand IT needs and provide solutions that support operational efficiency.
