## About the Role

We are seeking a Data Center Technician to support server and hardware operations in a data center environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hardware troubleshooting, cabling, and IT support experience, along with good attention to detail and teamwork skills., * 2+ years of data center technician experience.

 * Strong server hardware troubleshooting skills.
 * Experience with Windows Server, WinPE, and basic Linux.
 * Knowledge of Layer 1 3 networking.
 * Experience with diagnostics, firmware updates, and IPMI tools.
 * Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash preferred).
 * Ability to work independently and in team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

 * CompTIA A+, Server+, CCNA, or related certifications.
 * Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
 * Experience with virtual machines and PXE environments.

Physical Requirements:

 * Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
 * Ability to climb ladders and stand/walk for extended periods.

## Description

* Install, set up, and decommission servers, racks, switches, and hardware.
 * Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshoot server issues.
 * Replace faulty components and complete repairs with minimal downtime.
 * Handle cabling, labeling, staging, and quality checks.
 * Follow safety procedures and escalation processes.
 * Complete tickets and tasks within SLA timelines.
 * Create and update technical documentation and SOPs.
 * Support deployment activities and daily data center operations.
