Your work will span schematic design, PCB layout direction, functional testing, and system-level validation. You will define and direct the methods, procedures, and conditions used to test products, and you will ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing all conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. You will use computer-aided engineering and design software throughout the design and validation process. Collaboration is a core part of this position. You will work closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, manufacturing engineers, and product managers to deliver solutions that are both technically sound and manufacturable at scale. You will direct engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, coordinate field installation and operational testing activities, and interface with vendors to implement new and modified designs. You will also direct and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations as needed. Project management and communication are expected at a senior level. You will create project timelines based on product specifications, manage projects to meet commitments, and provide regular progress updates to your manager on specific milestone completions.
