## Description

Role Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Hardware Engineer with strong PC board design expertise to develop specialty, made-to-order embedded control systems built to withstand harsh industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, and improve digital hardware for embedded control platforms
 * Create and update schematics and PCBs; manage component selection, DFM, and DFT practices
 * Lead peer reviews for schematics, PCB layout, and design outputs
 * Design microcontroller I/O, signal conditioning, and serial communication buses (SPI, I²C, UART)
 * Collaborate with firmware engineers on interface definitions and board bring-up
 * Execute board-level validation, functional testing, and EMC compliance
 * Partner with manufacturing to resolve build issues and support release to production
