This is not just a "maintenance" role; it will lead the charge in evolving our API ecosystem from a collection of points to a resilient, scalable, and high-performance enterprise platform. It will be responsible for defining the technical vision, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, and managing the critical vendor relationships that power our infrastructure. This position will thrive on turning complex architectural puzzles into streamlined, stable business solutions., 1. Strategic Engineering Leadership * Team Evolution: Identify, mentor, and develop the next generation of engineering leaders. You aren't just managing tasks; you are building a high-performing "squad" culture. * Capability Building: Define the standards for "what good looks like" in code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing within the integration space. 2. API Ecosystem & Architecture * Platform Vision: Lead the design and deployment of API strategies using MuleSoft (or comparable gateways like Apigee or Kong). * Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full API lifecycle-from initial design and security protocols to versioning and eventual retirement. * Technical Roadmap: Align integration architecture with broader enterprise goals, ensuring our tech stack supports rapid business scaling. 3.
