Preferred Qualifications

 * Associates degree in IT or related field
 * Help desk or technical support experience
 * Experience with Microsoft 365
 * Experience with end-user devices and peripherals
 * Basic networking knowledge
 * Familiarity with endpoint management tools

## Description

Lakeland University is seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support and maintain IT systems across campus., * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic networking issues

 * Provide technical support via multiple channels
 * Deploy and maintain endpoint devices
 * Support Microsoft 365 tools
 * Assist with A/V setup and support
 * Maintain campus technology environments
 * Track service requests in the IT service management system
 * Provide user training and support
 * Collaborate with team members and student workers
 * Participate in on-call rotation, * Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 points or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day;
 * No or very limited exposure to physical risk;
 * Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
 * Occasional evenings or weekends required.
 * Some travel between campus locations required.
