This is a hands-on role focused on distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native development. You'll work closely with a remote engineering team to modernize legacy systems, build new services, and integrate external platforms. You'll also contribute to system design, mentor engineers, and help drive engineering best practices across the team. What You'll Do * Design and build scalable APIs and microservices across core platform domains * Lead modernization efforts from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures * Build event-driven systems for real-time processing and system communication * Integrate third-party SaaS platforms and external systems * Architect distributed systems for scalability, reliability, and performance * Define API contracts using REST and/or GraphQL * Work with relational and NoSQL data stores * Deploy and manage services in AWS using containerized infrastructure * Improve system observability, monitoring, and performance * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth * Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and technical direction, * High-impact role tied to a large-scale platform transformation * Opportunity to build modern systems from the ground up * Strong ownership and influence on technical direction * Work on complex, real-world systems at scale * For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
