## About the Role

* 2 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations or Production Support
 * Experience with Control-M or job scheduling tools
 * Knowledge of AIX, Linux, and Windows environments
 * Experience in NOC monitoring or production support roles
 * Understanding of incident and change management processes

## Description

We are hiring a Computer Operator 2 to support 24/7 data center and production operations for a government client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring systems, managing batch processing jobs, and ensuring smooth IT operations in a mission-critical environment.
Shift Details:

 * Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
 * Additional 16 hours during weekdays (flexible across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift), * Monitor data center operations and production systems
 * Manage and track batch jobs using Control-M or similar scheduling tools
 * Perform NOC monitoring and respond to system alerts
 * Handle incident detection, escalation, and resolution
 * Support production control activities and ensure system uptime
 * Coordinate with infrastructure teams for hardware, UPS, and HVAC issues
 * Follow change management processes and operational procedures
