## About the Role

Do you have experience in SQL?, * 2-5 years of experience - Background in data management, analytics, engineering, or BI, with an interest in transitioning into or deepening expertise in data governance.

 * Consulting & client engagement skills - Preferably, experience working with external clients (or internal stakeholders) to assess requirements, deliver solutions, and support change management.
 * Hands-on experience with data governance platforms - Experience with Collibra or similar platforms is a plus.
 * Technical proficiency - Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and data integration concepts (e.g. ELT); experience with scripting (Python, Groovy, Activiti/Flowable) for workflow automation is considered a plus.
 * Communication - Fluent in English and Dutch.

## Description

* Advise and support clients on data governance best practices - Implement data governance by design / shift left, embedding policies, data quality, and access controls early in the data lifecycle. Integrate governance into data pipelines and platforms using workflows, automation, CI/CD, and tools like Collibra, Purview, or custom frameworks.
 * Automate the capture of technical metadata and lineage from source systems into data governance platforms like (e.g. Collibra).
 * Advise and support the implementation of data quality tools such as Collibra Data Quality, Soda, Monte Carlo, or Great Expectations.
 * Build maintainable data solutions - e.g. metadata pipelines, data profiling scripts, data classification jobs.
