## About the Role

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred

 * 2+ Years of Ruby on Rails experience required
 * 2+ Years of Vue.js or similar front end framework
 * Experience with Git, GitLab, or GitHub
 * Experience with test-driven development a plus
 * Knowledge of Linux and command line tools
 * Proficiency with ERP/MRP Systems and other Database programs, preferred
 * Knowledge of network concepts and principles including operating systems, security, and advanced protocol
 * Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
 * Effective teamwork and collaboration
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Demonstrated critical thinking and analysis
 * Strong project management skills

## Description

The Ruby on Rails Developer is responsible for developing new applications, enhancing existing applications, and interfacing with a legacy ERP system. The Ruby on Rails Developer works closely with the Business Systems Manager, Information Systems team, and IT Manager to create applications that improve productivity across the business., * Write, clean, maintainable, and efficient code

 * Design robust, scalable, and secure features
 * Analyzes business application requirements and user specifications
 * Works closely with legacy ERP developers to integrate and interface ERP functionality on the Ruby platform
 * Assists in writing Statements of Work for application programming
 * Ensures that application development aligns with Statement of Work and minimizes scope creep
 * Estimates project timelines, identifies complexity, and communicates effectively in all phases of the project
 * Revises and updates applications and documentation as required
 * Documents code and systems
 * Performs any other task as requested by Manager
