Join us and be part of a team where your voice matters, your work makes an impact, and your growth is a shared priority., The Building Automation Systems Field Technician III will install building automation systems, work with other installers, support programmers, and take on increased responsibility for assigned field tasks, issue resolution, and project communication. This person will provide technical support to execute project start up, installation and testing, commissioning and closeout of building automation systems software integration projects in industrial, commercial and mission critical / technology sectors. The Building Automation Systems Field Technician III will work with design engineers, construction contractors, equipment vendors and client staff to support proper operation and acceptance of the automation and software solutions. The Building Automation Systems Field Technician III will receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects, tasks or assignments. This person may work independently, consistently exercising discretion and independent judgment on individual work, or may work under immediate supervision. This person may serve as lead on routine projects, tasks or assignments of limited scope. This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives., Installation and Installation Coordination of BAS / HVAC Controls Systems (35%) * Install and wire BAS controllers and field devices * Install and terminate low voltage cables * Support start-up and cutovers of panels and systems * Coordinate assigned activities with subcontractors, vendors and construction trades as needed, under the direction of project leadership.
