 * 3?5 years of virtualization engineering or administration experience.
 * VMware vSphere expertise.
 * Experience with backup and recovery technologies including Cohesity and Veeam.
 * Knowledge of scripting and automation.
 * Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
 * CompTIA Security+ and DoD 8570 IAT II certification required.

## Description

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Virtualization Engineer/Administrator ? Level 2 to support and optimize enterprise virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware technologies. The successful candidate will assist with virtualization operations, system maintenance, performance optimization, backup and recovery, automation, and infrastructure security., * Manage and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure environments.

 * Provision and administer virtual machines.
 * Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues.
 * Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
 * Implement automation and security hardening solutions.
 * Support backup and recovery operations using Cohesity and Veeam.
 * Assist with Windows and Linux server administration.
 * Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
 * Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure improvements.
