The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and experience working in highly regulated, safety-critical environments, Systems Engineering & Technical Leadership * Lead the definition, development, and management of system-level architectures for aerospace component test equipment, including hardware, software, instrumentation, controls, and interfaces * Translate customer and regulatory requirements into clear, testable system, subsystem, and component requirements * Own requirements traceability throughout the full product lifecycle * Serve as the technical authority for assigned programs, providing guidance and mentoring to junior and mid level engineers Design, Integration & Verification * Oversee system integration activities, ensuring proper interaction between mechanical, electrical, software, and test subsystems * Develop and execute verification and validation plans to confirm system performance, reliability, and compliance * Support system-level troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions during development and testing * Travel to customer sites when required to support the technical interchange meetings, installation, and commissioning for equipment Aerospace Compliance & Quality * Ensure designs comply with applicable aerospace and industry standards (e.g., DO-160, NEC, NFPA, AS9100, MIL-STD, CE requirement (ATEX compliance a plus) * Ensure safety and reliability requirements are identified, analyzed, and met.
