## About the Role

Do you have experience in System design for system development?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Over all 5-6 years of information technology experience

 * 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience
 * 3+ years of Linux administration experience
 * Multiple Information Technology certifications
 * Knowledge of Government-wide system design, information technology equipment and services
 * BS degree at minimum, experience can be substituted in some cases in lieu of BS degree at the discretion of the government

Government Requirements

 * Clearance - must have an Active TOP SECRET clearance and undergo background investigation and a drug test
 * Citizenship - Must be a US Citizen

## Description

* Evaluate and recommends available database management system products to support validated user requirements
 * Define file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user\applications
 * Maintain Oracle systems on a Linux operating system and (also desired MS SQL databases admin experience) on day-to-day basis
 * Shall be responsible for backup and recovery operations for servers
 * Perform quality control of ingest and transform processes and products produced
 * Perform rudimentary Linux systems administrative functions
 * Responsible for entity relational diagrams and documentation of Oracle configuration
