## About the Role

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering?, * Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.

 * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
 * 1-4 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, fabrication, industrial equipment, process systems, or a related industry.
 * Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
 * Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and technical documentation.
 * Familiarity with ASME codes, pressure-containing equipment, piping systems, or industrial products is a plus.
 * Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Preferred Experience

 * Exposure to pressure vessels, piping systems, flow measurement equipment, or other engineered industrial products.
 * Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
 * Familiarity with engineering calculation software is a plus.

## Description

Our client, a growing manufacturer serving the industrial process and energy sectors, is seeking a Design Engineer to join their Houston-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams on custom-engineered products., * Create and revise detailed engineering and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

 * Support the design and development of engineered products used in industrial and process applications.
 * Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations to support product design and customer requirements.
 * Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs meet customer specifications and industry standards.
 * Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, procedures, inspection plans, and project deliverables.
 * Assist with troubleshooting production and installation challenges by working directly with shop personnel and project stakeholders.
 * Review customer specifications and ensure project requirements are accurately incorporated into designs.
 * Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining engineering templates and design libraries.
