## About the Role

Do you have experience in Programming languages?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or a related technical role; Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.

 * Hands-on experience with SQL-based data platforms, ETL/ELT development, and modern cloud or MPP data environments (e.g., Snowflake).
 * Working knowledge of AWS, dbt, Matillion, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
 * Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
 * Ability to solve a range of straightforward technical problems using established processes, while receiving moderate guidance and direction., * Cloud or data engineering certifications (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
 * Exposure to big data processing frameworks or platforms (e.g., Spark).
 * Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to support data engineering workflows.

## Description

* Design, build, test, and support ETL/ELT data pipelines that ingest and transform customer data into an existing Snowflake platform on AWS.
 * Develop and maintain data transformations and models using tools such as dbt and Matillion, following established development standards and patterns.
 * Participate in Agile delivery processes, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment activities using Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
 * Collaborate with senior data engineers, architects, and business partners to understand data requirements, analyze solutions, and deliver reliable customer data assets.
 * Utilize approved AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and efficiency while adhering to Pacific Life data governance, security, and quality standards.
