Should be able to diagnose and resolve common technical issues faced by end-users (e.g., printer problems, login issues, software glitches). * Understanding of Security Practices: Awareness of security best practices. * Time Management: Tier 1 support handles multiple tickets simultaneously. Good time management ensures timely responses. * Problem-Solving, Professionalism, Adaptability and Writing Skills. * Some knowledge of SQL, Python, PowerShell and similar scripting languages is preferred. Install, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and peripheral equipment. Triage and troubleshoot issues submitted through the Help Desk ticketing system. Coordinate technology needs with outsourced vendors for cost-effectiveness. Assist IT leadership on researching, planning and implementing new technologies to improve member access and staff efficiency., * Serve as the Tier 1 IT support person to resolve or escalate help desk tickets/requests from Pathways staff. * Provide technical support and consultation in the use and operations of complex computer operating systems including remote and in-person support as needed. * Create and modify software deployment scripts as needed. * Work as a team within IT to complete daily tasks, demonstrating respect and professionalism, supporting management with special requests as needed. * Work with IT team to add and develop systems to better support end users. Design and maintain systems documentation according to applicable policies and standards. Ensure that documentation meets all security regulations for the credit union. * Keep abreast of state-of-the-art technology developments particularly in these areas: Security, AI, Cloud Services.
