You'll have significant opportunities to shape and own projects, author and review technical specifications, and pinpoint areas for improvement in our products and tech stack. We are seeking a highly skilled web engineer who can help build the next generation of care provider experience., * BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent * 4+ years of professional development experience, building APIs and services * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on projects, while being comfortable collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define, design and ship new features in a remote environment * Proven track record of successfully delivering complex full-stack projects across product and technology initiatives * Strong expertise in modern backend frameworks such as Python (Django), Typescript (Node.js) * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a positive mindset to identify, collaborate, and drive solutions, explaining technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions based on requirements, constraints, and trade-offs, paired with strong documentation skills. Ability to discern and make strong technical decisions based on the business strategy * Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing Preferred Skills: * Experience with AWS platforms * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform * Experience building health tech software Location: This role is open to candidates across the US, with preferred locations in San Francisco, CA (hybrid), New York City, NY (remote), and Seattle, WA (remote). Candidates must permanently reside in the US full-time.
