Preferred Experience/Skills * Strong understanding of lubrication principles (viscosity, contamination control, filtration). * Ability to operate lubrication equipment and perform oil sampling/testing. * Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with rotating equipment and hydraulic systems. * Basic computer skills for CMMS data entry and reporting. * Attention to detail and ability to identify early signs of equipment wear or lubricant degradation. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Working Conditions Physical Demands * Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving around the production floor. * Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. * Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights when required. * Repetitive motions, including twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling. * May involve operating machinery, tools, or equipment requiring manual dexterity and coordination. * Bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, crouching, and other physical activities may be required. ## Description The Lubrication Technician ensures the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment by implementing and maintaining lubrication programs. This role involves applying lubricants, monitoring lubricant conditions, performing contamination control, and supporting preventive maintenance strategies.
