## Description

This position will start on or after July 1, 2026.Under the general supervision of the System Engineer this position will be responsible for the first line of IT technical support for all County departments. The IT User Support Technician will support and maintain end user computer systems, mobile devices, software systems, and peripherals for all County departments. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all software, hardware, and equipment. This position will work with the Information Technology Operations team and other IT support staff and will be expected to perform other duties as needed.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day.
