(P) Organization (R) Written and Oral Communication (R) Haynes Computer Systems (Dynamics, AX, QTC, Shopfloor, Minitab, etc.) (R) Interpersonal Relationships (R) ## Description This role will safely and effectively organize, plan, and control assigned areas of responsibility related to the Quality Assurance group and follow established corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines to deliver consistent results to external and internal customers. This person will work in a manner to aide in maintaining the Quality System and support our customers, and also provide backup support to Material Release and Certifications, as well as being involved with other related projects, as directed by Quality Assurance Management., * Understand the Haynes Quality System Requirements, the basic ISO, Nadcap, and AS requirements. Have a basic understanding of product and process flows to enable daily support of our quality objectives. * Work as a backup as needed to support multiple functions. Assist in the data extraction for the various systems, as directed. Generate product reviews as needed for material issues. * Support certifications in the daily functions to maintain test sheets, heat cards, and other data that flows into the certification department. Initiate Product Reviews on material as required. Support with editing of certification process. Understand the flow of certifications and help as needed in the distribution of certifications. Maintain the data for certification errors of completed marked-up certifications. Assist with initial categorization of certification errors. Can generate certifications in QTC for material release prior to shipment as needed to meet production goals and may require weekend/overtime coverage. Modify certifications as requested by sales and/or the customer. * Interpret and ensure compliance with the material release and certification requirements of industry/customer specifications. * Maintain TUV training and accreditation for certification of PED material. * Summarize monthly activity for input in the monthly Quality Assurance Report.
