The candidate must be able to successfully apply critical-thinking skills when evaluating each case, and when utilizing the broad array of customer systems and tools in order to accurately inform the review and release process. The individual will provide the rationale for redactions using legally defined exemption codes; provide recommendations for release of the documents; and record decisions in the appropriate system. Research of previous release decisions is required to ensure accuracy and consistency in our recommendations. Analysts in this role identify Other Government Agency (OGA) equities involved in the case and ensure that they are prepared for referral or coordination. Mandatory Qualifications and Experience for Declassification Services * Significant historical knowledge of client policies related to information security and classification; understanding of client missions and organization; familiarity with client, IC, and DoD policies and regulations related to information security and classification is required * Prior client experience is required, but on a case-by-case review of a contractor's resume, the client may decide but is not required to accept a contractor with other relevant IC experience, which includes significant SIGNIT experience.
