This opportunity is based in Greenville, SC and is intended for a licensed engineer who routinely exercises independent engineering judgment, leads complex field inspections, and provides technical oversight to inspection teams. In this role, you will serve as a technical lead for bridge and waterfront inspections , with responsibility for planning and executing inspections, evaluating structural conditions, and developing sound engineering recommendations. You will work with moderate supervision and will be expected to mentor junior staff, interface directly with clients, and contribute to the consistent delivery of high-quality inspection services. Your Impact * Lead and execute bridge and waterfront inspections in accordance with owner requirements and industry standards. * Apply professional engineering judgment to evaluate structural conditions of bridges and marine structures and develop recommendations for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement * Plan inspection approaches, field logistics, and staffing needs for assigned projects * Review and approve inspection reports for technical accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project requirements * Perform and check engineering calculations related to structural repairs, load ratings, and construction inspections * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, inspectors, and dive personnel in the field * Coordinate with project managers to support schedule, budget, and quality objectives * Promote and enforce WSP's safety culture, including strict adherence to site-specific safety plans and procedures * Represent WSP professionally during client interactions and field coordination meetings * Exercise sound ethical and professional judgment in accordance with WSP's Code of Conduct ## Related Videos - [Oh S***!
