In this role, you'll provide technical leadership across cloud engineering and operations, enable application teams through automation and self-service, and help establish standards that improve security, reliability, and scalability. You'll work closely with engineering and application teams to support both cloud migrations and new cloud-native development, while promoting consistent governance, best practices, and DevSecOps patterns across the organization., * Design and implement secure cloud solutions aligned with rapid and secure development principles. * Build and evolve cloud infrastructure delivery strategies, including standards, processes, technologies, and tools. * Translate business needs into cloud solutions by understanding cloud use cases and making practical architectural recommendations. * Create automation and self-service capabilities for application development teams. * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and tooling using software engineering best practices. * Support cloud platforms through engineering, administration, troubleshooting, analysis, trending, and reporting. * Build and support cloud infrastructure for new applications and microservices as workloads shift to AWS/GCP. * Partner with development teams to evaluate requirements and recommend implementation, deployment, and provisioning approaches. * Develop enablement tools such as: + CI/CD pipelines + Container scheduling solutions + Custom engineering utilities and applications * Perform ongoing system reviews and recommend improvements to security, performance, cost, and operational maturity. * Stay current with commercial and open-source DevSecOps tools, architectures, and practices. * Coach and review the work of other engineers, contributing to team capability growth. * Collaborate in a team environment using practices like peer coding, design reviews, and code reviews. ## Related Videos - [Git for Code Reviews](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/429-git-for-code-reviews) - [Are Code Reviews Worth It?
