## About the Role

Required:

 + Typically has the education associated with a Master of Science degree in Forestry or a closely related field and at least one year of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 + Experience with scientific data management or long-term silvicultural studies.

 + Ability to use Microsoft Access and R or a similar programming language.

 + Demonstrated familiarity with data analysis and reporting.

 + Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred:

 + Experience with US Forest Service data.

 + Experience writing ISO metadata.

 + Technical writing ability.

 + Experience writing scientific publications and giving scientific presentations.

 + Interest and motivation for working with researchers.
