Knowledge of data center or network closet environments. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are a plus., * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related work experience sufficient to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Certifications (Preferred) * CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent vendor-neutral credential. * Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or higher-level Microsoft certification., * Network support: 3 years (Required) * Hardware support: 3 years (Required) ## Description We are seeking a hands-on Network Hardware Support Engineer to provide dedicated onsite support at a customer location in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with hardware installations, network infrastructure support, and field implementation activities. This role requires working directly at the customer site and supporting the deployment, installation, and troubleshooting of various IT and network-related equipment., Install, configure, and deploy UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems and associated hardware. Perform installation and implementation of network switches, surveillance cameras, and related infrastructure equipment. Support onsite network implementation projects and infrastructure upgrades. Assist with hardware deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Perform rack-and-stack activities, cable management, and equipment installation within network closets and data room environments. Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to network hardware and infrastructure components. Coordinate with remote network and engineering teams to support project implementation and issue resolution. Conduct hardware inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment replacement as required. Document installation activities, configurations, and project updates.
