This role requires demonstrated technical expertise in pressure, temperature, motion, and force measurements. The candidate should be proficient in assembling hydraulic and pneumatic test setups, utilizing a variety of laboratory and test equipment, and troubleshooting complex systems. An understanding of mechanical engineering principles and best drafting practices is preferred but not required., * Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an engineering environment, with a focus on instrumentation and testing. * Technical Skills: * Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, environmental chambers, sensors, and pressure controllers. * Understanding of sensors and signal conditioning types: Voltage, Current, and Ratiometric * Understanding of Accuracy, Precision, Resolution, etc and selecting equipment based on test requirements. * Experience with data acquisition systems. * National Instruments cDAQ Chassis and Modules preferred but not required. * Programable Logic Controllers * Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * 3D printing experience preferred but not required. * Documentation: Experience in writing test procedures and reports. Must be able to document and present testing data in a clear and effective manner. * Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex test setups. * Schematics: Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. * Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and repeatability.
