CERTIFICATIONS Preferred at time of hire: * CompTIA Network+ * CompTIA Security+ * Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) or higher, * IT Help Desk: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: * Drivers License (Required) ## Description The Network Engineer (Tier 2) is a skilled generalist who handles escalated support tickets from Tier 1, owns the more complex technical work within the MSP team's day-to-day operations, and serves as the bridge between reactive help desk support and the project team. This role manages client infrastructure directly: firewalls, servers, backups, and Microsoft 365 environments, and ensures that escalated issues are resolved completely and documented to a high standard. Tier 2 engineers may occasionally assist the project team with deployments, but their primary accountability is to the MSP queue and client environment health.
