Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience. * Experience in autonomous vehicles, fleet operations, precision driving, delivery, rideshare, valet, commercial driving, or field testing. * Experience testing complex hardware/software systems. * Experience with data collection, structured testing, or troubleshooting workflows. * Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, basic automotive mechanics, sensors, or vehicle systems. * Genuine interest in autonomous vehicles, robotics, transportation technology, or AI. Physical Requirements * Ability to sit in a vehicle for up to 6-8 hours per day. * Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, such as moving sensor calibration equipment or vehicle-related tools. * Clear vision and hearing, with or without corrective wear or aids, to monitor road conditions, system cues, and environmental surroundings., * Clear background check and drug screen * Valid U.S. Driver's License for at least 5 years. Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) ## Description * Systems Supervision: Monitor vehicle software systems while following all safety protocols, testing procedures, and traffic laws. * Structured Testing: Execute specific test scenarios, such as navigating construction zones, roundabouts, dense traffic, heavy pedestrian areas, and other complex road environments. * Data Logging & Reporting: Provide clear verbal and written feedback on vehicle behavior, edge cases, road conditions, and non-ideal system performance. * Fleet Health: Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking that sensors, cameras, LiDAR, and radar equipment are clean and operational. * Engineering Collaboration: Work directly with software and hardware engineering teams to troubleshoot issues identified during shifts. * Operational Safety: Maintain strong situational awareness during long periods of driving and follow defensive driving best practices at all times.
