WHAT WILL HELP * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and collaboration abilities. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality. * Experience testing embedded and mobile systems. * Experience creating automated hardware and software tests. * Experience with Arduino, Raspberry pi and IBM DOORS. ## Description Systems Test Engineer I is responsible for the testing and validation of Gentex systems and applications. They will execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Gentex products meet functional and performance requirements., * Implement and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system-level testing. * Execute manual and automated tests to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability. * Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution. * Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality. * Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes to ensure product stability. * Analyze test results and generate detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations. * Stay current with industry best practices in testing methodologies and tools. * Other duties as assigned.
