Ability to lift up to 50 lbs+ of hardware occasionally. * Adaptable Schedule: Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency evening or weekend support, as our clients operate outside of standard 9-to-5 hours. ## Description * Onsite Installation: Mount, wire, and configure physical tech stacks at customer locations, including POS terminals, receipt printers, cash drawers, KDS (Kitchen Display Systems), and network deployments. * Specialized Equipment Configuration: Build, calibrate, and service specialized retail and grocery equipment, including digital retail scales and integrated auto-wrappers. * Physical Security & Comm Systems: Assist with the physical mounting, aiming, and backend configuration of IP security camera systems and commercial VoIP phone setups. IT Infrastructure & Networking * Network Deployment: Run low-voltage cabling, crimp connections, mount access points, and set up local network hardware (routers, switches, controllers) to ensure rock-solid network stability for critical payment environments. * Infrastructure Management: Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues, configure VLANs for secure payment processing isolation, and optimize Wi-Fi coverage for mobile devices and guest networks. Technical Support & Troubleshooting * Help Desk Operations: Diagnose and resolve incoming support tickets via phone, remote desktop tools, or onsite visits, focusing on minimized downtime for businesses. * Software Troubleshooting: Support proprietary POS databases, payment gateways, age-verification software integrations, and tobacco rebate tracking modules, ect.
