 * Strong hands-on expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, VPC)
 * Experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
 * Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python
 * Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning and validation
 * Strong understanding of cloud networking and infrastructure design
 * Experience leading incidents and managing production environments

Preferred Skills

 * AWS Solutions Architect Certification
 * Networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent)
 * ITIL Certification

## Description

We are seeking for a Cloud Engineering Ops Lead (AWS + Application Support) to ensure AWS platforms and customer-facing applications are highly available, observable, secure, recoverable, and cost-efficient. Key Responsibilities

 * Manage AWS operations including EC2, EKS, RDS, ALB/CloudFront, IAM/OIDC, and networking (VPC, TGW, Security Groups)
 * Support application releases including readiness checks, smoke testing, and rollback strategies
 * Build and maintain observability systems (dashboards, logs, metrics, traces, alerts)
 * Own backup and disaster recovery including policies, retention, cross-region replication, and restore testing
 * Lead incident management (Sev-1/2), ensuring clear communication and effective resolution
 * Drive cost optimization through tagging, right-sizing, RI/SP coverage, and lifecycle management
 * Develop runbooks, automate repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiency
 * Maintain security best practices including least-privilege access and credential rotation
 * Ensure production readiness and stability across AWS environments
