## About the Role

Do you have experience in Technical user customer support?, * 5+ years experience in a similar or related role.

 * Experience/aptitude for Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Presales, or Solutions Engineering with a software company.
 * Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 * Excellent interpersonal skills .
 * Proven ability to present information well to various audiences.
 * Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines .
 * High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
 * Business analysis or solution architecture experience.
 * Understanding of geography, GIS, and Esri technology.
 * Diploma or degree in computer science, engineering, utilities, geography, geomatics, business administration, or related discipline.

## Description

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer with a strong technology background with the ability to translate that into business value. Are you people-focused and passionate about outreach and engagement with prospects, customers, and partners? Are you a problem solver and solution visionary? Are you a leader, mentor, and change agent?, * Provide technical and product expertise to our sales team, prospective customers, and partners during the sales process

 * Create and showcase product demonstration solutions for prospective customers and partners
 * Develop and maintain an enterprise level demonstration environment that includes our utilities networks software solutions suite and Esri technologies
 * Coordinate the resolution of technical/product issues that arise during the sales process
 * Work with customers and partners to maximize the benefits of our technology
 * Translate prospect business requirements into architecture and design specifications that align with VertiGIS and Esri's implementation strategies
 * Define and craft proof of concept applications based on prospective customer business requirements
 * Support and deliver presentations, training, and workshops at marketing events
 * Work closely with sales and marketing to define and develop internal and external product solution marketing resources
 * Work closely with the products team to identify and position key capabilities with internal and external stakeholders
 * Develop in-depth technical knowledge of our products and their value proposition
 * Educate sales and partner teams on the business value of our products and GIS enabled architecture and solutions
 * Travel as required for the role.
