Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # IT Support Specialist - **Company:** Furnished Finder, LLC - **Location:** Austin, TX, United States (Remote available) - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac Systems, Confluence, JIRA, Bash Shell, Microsoft Online Services, Identity and Access Management, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Microsoft Office, Network Administration, Windows PowerShell, Microsoft SharePoint, Shell Script, EndPointSecurity, Wi-Fi Technology, Scripting, Microsoft Power Automate, Sysadmin, Microsoft InTune, Atlassian Tools, Casper Suite, Zendesk, Servicenow - **Published:** June 6, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=074f50936e1be39a ## About the Role Do you have experience in macOS administration?, * 3+ years of professional IT support, service desk, or junior sysadmin experience in a business environment. * Hands-on administration of both macOS and Windows endpoints. * Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration: Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive. * Experience with at least one MDM or RMM platform (Intune, NinjaOne, Jamf, etc.). * Comfortable with ITSM/ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.). * Strong written communication - you'll regularly support people you've never met in person, * Reliable and organized; updates tickets and documentation without being asked. * Authorized to work in the US and able to be on-site in Austin the majority of the work week Strongly preferred * Direct experience with our stack: Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Intune, NinjaOne, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence). * Scripting/automation experience: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, Bash/zsh, or similar. * Familiarity with Entra ID Conditional Access, MFA/SSPR, and core identity security concepts. * Experience supporting a globally distributed remote workforce. * Office network management experience: Wi-Fi, VPN, Meraki or similar. * Familiarity with endpoint security tooling (Defender for Endpoint, Intune compliance reporting), * Able to lift ~30 lbs. (hardware moves and office setups) ## Description Front-line support * Own the IT ticket queue in Jira - triage, resolve, escalate, and close the loop. * Support employees across multiple time zones; communicate clearly in Slack and async tickets. * Document fixes, runbooks, and how-tos in Confluence so the next person doesn't have to ask. Endpoint management (Mac & Windows) * Provision and maintain devices via Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Intune, and NinjaOne. * Manage compliance policies, app deployment, OS patching, and device health. * Maintain the full endpoint lifecycle - imaging, reassignment, retirement, and certified data wipe. Identity & access * Manage the user lifecycle in Entra ID and Microsoft 365: onboarding, offboarding, groups, licenses. * Help maintain our Conditional Access posture & troubleshoot blocked sign-ins. Onboarding & Off-boarding * Own end-to-end new-hire setup: hardware staged or shipped, first-day login walkthrough, MFA enrollment, app access. * Run clean offboarding: account disable, data preservation, license reclaim, hardware return and wipe. Office, A/V, and infrastructure * Keep the Austin HQ working: Wi-Fi, printers, displays, conference rooms, and Teams meeting-room A/V.
