You are excited to work with and learn from software, mechanical, electrical, materials, and neural engineers * You are comfortable communicating across teams * You feel a sense of urgency to get things done sooner rather than later * Resourceful, flexible and adaptable; no task is too big or too small * You are comfortable working closely with animals in a research environment ## Description As a Software Engineer, you will write, test and deploy software that interacts with our neural interfaces and other data acquisition systems to decode and modulate brain activity. We are looking for hands-on engineers who are excited to own the end-to-end engineering of next-generation software systems for the control of neural stimulation, visual prosthesis (Blindsight) and medical imaging data pipelines. Successful candidates will be highly adaptable, able to deploy their core technical and creative skills to tackle a wide range of problems, and have a keen sense of urgency.
