## About the Role

Do you have experience in PLC programming?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

 * 5 years' experience developing in at least one of the following: C#/Java/JScript/C++
 * 2 years' experience with control systems and programming PLCs. (Rockwell/Siemens)
 * Experienced at reading technical drawings and electrical diagrams.

Preferred:

 * Previous experience in the automotive, aerospace, or broader manufacturing industries.
 * Experience in Test Driven Development or Industrial Digital Twin testing environments.
 * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working closely with other teams.
 * Experience working in WinMOD, Emulate3D, or Process Simulate or equivalent environment.
 * Knowledge of controls standards for Ford, GM, Chrysler, and other automotive manufacturers.

Other Capabilities:

 * Capable of working in a hybrid office and remote environment.
 * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with short turn-around times.
 * Technical writing and data presentation skills.
 * Solid organizational skills including proven ability to multi-task.
 * Willing to research new processes and technologies to improve the workflow of future projects.

## Description

This role will be responsible for the creation of new tools and update features within our existing technologies to allow for the testing of industrial controls programs in a virtual environment before entering production. Responsibilities will include gathering requirements for upcoming projects, implementing solutions to handle those requirements, and test them in conjunction with other software design team members. "
