 * 4+ years of embedded systems development experience
 * Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with both bare-metal and RTOS-based environments
 * Experience with wireless connectivity protocols and IoT architectures
 * Ability to read schematics and comfort working closely with hardware engineers during bring-up
 * Experience with Linux-based embedded systems (Yocto, Buildroot) a plus

## Description

As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will design and develop the embedded hardware and software that powers Vale's automated systems, bridging the gap between silicon and the application layer.

 * Design and implement embedded hardware and software co-development for Vale's devices
 * Develop BSPs and firmware for custom hardware platforms
 * Optimize embedded systems for power consumption, memory footprint, and real-time performance
 * Integrate wireless communication protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, or cellular) into Vale's devices
 * Collaborate on schematic review and PCB bring-up with Electrical Engineering
 * Write comprehensive tests for embedded systems from unit to system level
 * Document embedded system architecture, APIs, and configuration
