especially client-facing * Good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently * Strong attention to detail - applicants should include the phrase "Greetings Zivtech Crew" somewhere in their cover letter or application materials Nice to Have * Prior experience with AI-assisted or agent-based development workflows * Experience building or maintaining reusable component libraries or design systems * Acquia Drupal certifications * Agency or consulting background * Experience mentoring junior or mid-level engineers ## Description Senior engineers at Zivtech are expected to use AI tools and agent-based workflows as part of their day-to-day work, including: * First-pass implementation, research, and technical exploration * Accelerating code reviews, documentation, and test generation * Helping break down work into tickets, acceptance criteria, and estimates * Improving consistency across projects through shared prompts, standards, and workflows We value engineers who know: * When AI output is good enough - and when it needs to be challenged * How to guide AI toward maintainable, secure, and performant solutions * That ownership and accountability still sit firmly with the human, * Own projects from start to finish - requirements, architecture, implementation, delivery, and post-launch support * Serve as a technical lead and primary engineering contact for clients * Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, translating business needs into technical decisions * Break down complex work and delegate effectively to other engineers * Use AI agents and AI-assisted workflows to increase leverage and delivery velocity * Support sales, architects, and leadership with discovery, estimates, and technical direction * Work on the critical path to ensure projects ship on time and within scope * Write high-quality front-end and back-end code * Perform code reviews and help set engineering standards * Mentor other engineers through feedback, pairing, and review * Identify technical and delivery risks early -
