## About the Role

* 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Reporting.
 * 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience.
 * Strong expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL.
 * 5+ years of experience with SSIS and/or SSRS (or Talend).
 * Strong experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
 * Experience with ETL design, development, and production support.
 * Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including:

 * Data marts
 * ETL pipelines
 * Data modeling
 * Experience with performance tuning and debugging data workflows.
 * Experience using version control systems such as Git or Team Foundation Server.
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills., * Experience with Salesforce integrations.
 * Experience with MuleSoft or API integrations.
 * Experience working in government or large enterprise environments.
 * Experience supporting legacy system modernization initiatives.

Work Environment

 * Hybrid role with periodic onsite work required in Hartford, CT.
 * Full-time, 40 hours/week.
 * Must attend at least one in-person interview.
 * Candidate must be eligible for background verification and compliance checks.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and enterprise reports.
 * Build and optimize SSIS ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
 * Develop complex SQL and T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
 * Support data migration and integration between legacy and modern systems.
 * Design data models, data marts, schemas, and data dictionaries.
 * Ensure data quality, reconciliation, validation, and error handling processes.
 * Optimize ETL and query performance for large datasets.
 * Work across multiple database systems including SQL Server and DB2.
 * Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
 * Participate in full SDLC activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
 * Coordinate with system integrators to support knowledge transfer and continuity.
