## Description

GovCIO is currently hiring for an **Engineer/Scientist 1** to perform Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) functions on the Navy's Fleet Submarine Very Low and Low-Frequency Broadcast Engineering Support team. This position will be in Charleston, SC and will be an onsite position that typically requires 50% CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

_Duties include:_

 + Responsible for design, development, and simulation of SysML Models based on the US Navy LF/VLF radio transmitters.

 + Responsible for requirements decomposition and traceability for legacy systems.

 + Responsible for the development of Structural/Behavior/Parametric models based on legacy systems.

 + Performs complex tasks relating to system operations, installation, and/or maintenance for local, off-site, and/or remote locations.

 + Gather technical requirements, conduct surveys and engage with clients, constructions crews, utility personnel, and various government departments.

 + Perform system level acceptance testing, and on-site troubleshooting; generate test procedures, reports, and redlines.
