## About the Role

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, * 8+ years' experience with Teradata V17+

 * 5+ years' experience in ETL using awk and Shell Scripting in a Unix/Linux environment

 * 5+ years' experience with experience with Teradata Utilities (TPT, Mload, Fastload, BTEQ, etc.)

 * 3-5+ years' experience with performance tuning within a Teradata environment (SQL Joins, Indexes, Viewpoint, Explains)

 * 3-5+ years' experience in loading data from multiple source systems

 * 3-5+ years' experience SQL Skills that include working with joins, indexes, partitions at table level and performance tuning skillsets

 * 1+ years' experience with BI reporting tool along with basic modelling operations and maintenance issues.

 * Experience working with end users/customers to understand system and business issues and perform technical analysis to develop solutions

 * Ability to provide targeted training and technical guidance to development teams for troubleshooting and batch support

 * Must be able to work independently and not rely on team members

 * Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts, immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, other State agencies and the private sector.

 * Recognize, gather, correlate, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and devise solutions and alternatives and make appropriate recommendations.

Preferred but not Required Skills

 * Certified Teradata Master

 * Experience maintaining Dashboards and other basic reports related to data warehouse on a daily basis.

 * Experience with Teradata Studio/Teradata SQL Assistant

 * Experience with cloud based BI tools/Data Warehouse implementations

 * Previous experience with State Government
