## About the Role

* Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, 12 years with HS diploma
 * Must be a US Citizen
 * Must have active public trust clearance
 * CompTIA Security+ certification may be required. If not certified, ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire date may be required.

## Description

Peraton is seeking a Lead Developer. The Lead Developer is responsible for the following but not limited too:

 * Overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions, providing technical direction, and mentoring team members.
 * This role involves designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure architectures while ensuring compliance with program standards and objectives.
 * Key responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, performing code reviews, resolving complex technical challenges, and ensuring that development timelines are met.
 * The Lead Developer fosters collaboration across development teams while promoting the adoption of best practices to enhance system performance and maintainability.
 * This role drives innovation and ensures the successful delivery of software solutions that meet mission-critical requirements.
