## About the Role

Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

 * Associates or Bachelors' degree in computer science or related field preferred.
 * Strong knowledge of PCs, technology, software applications; ability to gain and apply expertise, trouble shoot, analyze situations to determine next steps and ability to prioritize work.
 * Excellent written/oral communication and customer service skills required.
 * Previous IT Help Desk experience preferred.

## Description

* This position will be the first point of contact for users needing IT Assistance.
 * While providing the highest level of customer service, the IT Help Desk Tech will answer incoming calls, track information/progress, and resolve requests or escalate to the appropriate IT team member.
 * Provide ongoing support for PCs, printers, scanners and other peripheral devices.
 * Assist end users with questions, problems and simple application.
 * Competent to work on most phases of personal computing technologies and advises users and management upon request.
 * Conducts research and self-directed study on local Area Network technologies.
