## About the Role

Do you have experience in Unit testing?, * 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering for robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other complex hardware/software systems

 * Experience testing such systems at all levels from unit tests to comprehensive end-to-end test campaigns.
 * Solid understanding of physics, geometry, and dynamics
 * Proficiency in C++ and Python
 * Ability to learn and utilize new frameworks quickly, employing AI tools or otherwise
 * Experience training new applications on existing ML architectures and improving existing applications

We prefer:

 * 8+ years industry experience
 * Proficiency in SQL
 * Experience building and testing autonomous systems
 * Experience using LLMs and VLMs in production environments

## Description

In this hybrid role, you will report to a Senior Staff Test Engineer, Driving Behaviors.

You will:

 * Develop metrics and models to evaluate and enhance the performance, safety and scalability of our self driving system
 * Evaluate new models or methods to assess their performance and applicability to problems
 * Find new ways to gather the required data needed to improve our metrics and models
 * Communicate benefits and limitations of new models and metrics to partner teams
 * Integrate and deploy metrics and models on fleet-wide data
