Experience is to include at least three (3) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques or tools. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * Must have experience supporting NISCAP and DIACAP processes * Serve as the approval authority for Information Systems * Experience as an ISSM * Experience planning and coordinating IT Security Programs and Policies * Knowledgeable of customer compliance and risk regulations * Experience building SSPs * Proven ability to complete System Certification and Accreditation * Experience with vulnerability and risk assessment analysis, and development of security protocols * Must have familiarization with customer infrastructure * Must be able to work a flexible schedule * Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph ## Description Peraton is hiring an Enterprise Infrastructure Services Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland. As an ISSO on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at our National Business Parkway office. As an ISSO on our team you will provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program, including proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. You will maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed; evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information; perform vulnerability and risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation; and prepare and reviews documentation to include System Security Plans (SSP), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices.
