Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Chief Technology Officer - **Company:** TechInsights Inc. - **Location:** Denver, CO, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Software as a Service, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Architecture, Data Governance, Machine Learning, Azure Machine Learning, Reverse Engineering, Search Technologies, Software Organization, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Management, Virtual Agents - **Published:** June 11, 2026 - **Apply:** http://techinsights.applytojob.com/apply/jobs/details/DfooCQ3h0o ## About the Role * 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, with at least five years in a senior executive role (SVP Engineering, CTO, or equivalent) * Demonstrated success scaling engineering organizations and technology platforms in a data-intensive, B2B, or SaaS environment * Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, data architecture, platform engineering, and modern software development practices * Experience building and leading high-performing, geographically distributed engineering teams * Experience with AI/ML platforms, large-scale data products, or content intelligence systems * Experience supporting technology through M&A activity, including technical due diligence and integration * Background in or familiarity with the semiconductor, EDA, materials science, or technology intelligence industry is a strong asset * Exposure to export control frameworks, IP protection, or compliance requirements in a technology or research environment * Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline Leadership Competencies * Able to balance long-term strategic vision with near-term execution and operational discipline * Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences * Collaborative, with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional peers in a matrixed environment * Data-driven approach to technology investment and decision-making * Committed to talent development, psychological safety, and organizational health * Ability to translate complex technical strategies into clear business outcomes for senior stakeholders ## Description Technology Strategy and Executive Leadership * Define and own the enterprise technology strategy, aligned with TechInsights' corporate strategy, product vision, and revenue objectives * Serve as a full member of the Executive Leadership Team, bringing a technology perspective to enterprise-wide decisions and representing TechInsights' capabilities to customers, partners, investors, and the board * Lead technology investment planning across AI, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms, balancing strategic ambition with the company's target net margin * Model TechInsights' five priorities, Speed, Custody, Repeatability, Productivity, and Wellness, in leadership practice and decision-making Platform, Engineering, and Innovation * Oversee AI Engineering, Reverse Engineering R&D, and IT Support, setting enterprise-wide standards for quality, consistency, and technical excellence * Lead the applied AI and R&D agenda, determining how machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics are developed and deployed in production, including large language models, vector databases, semantic search, and domain-specific AI models * Drive build-buy-partner decisions for advanced engineering capabilities and provide technical due diligence support for M&A and strategic partnerships * Collaborate with Product and Commercial leadership to align engineering capacity and delivery cadence with product strategy and go-to-market timelines * Partner with Security & AI Governance to ensure engineering operations meet the company's cybersecurity, data governance, and AI threat management requirements Organizational Leadership and Operational Excellence * Lead the technology organization with full accountability for organizational design, team performance, and culture * Build a high-performance engineering culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent, with clear career frameworks and a strong leadership pipeline * Oversee the engineering budget, define annual forecasts, and present investment recommendations to the CEO and board;
