Essential Mental and Physical Functions: * This role requires consistent focus, precision, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. * Physical demands include standing for long periods, walking between workstations, and handling small tools and components. ## Description The Quality Assurance Technician supports BASX's commitment to delivering high-quality HVAC products by performing inspections, tests, and audits throughout the manufacturing process. This entry-level role ensures that components and finished units meet internal and external standards. The technician works closely with production teams to identify defects and recommend corrective actions. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of quality principles are essential. Primary Duties The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for executing quality control procedures and supporting continuous improvement efforts across production lines. Primary duties : * Conducting inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. * Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records in accordance with company standards. * Reporting non-conformances and assisting in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. * Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. * Using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters to verify product dimensions and performance. * Supporting internal audits and participating in quality training sessions. * Ensuring compliance with BASX's quality management system and applicable industry standards. * Promoting a culture of quality and accountability on the production floor., * Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in products. * Manual dexterity for operating inspection tools and equipment. * Visual acuity for detailed inspections and reading technical documents. * Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally and work in a fast-paced environment.
