## Description

The IT Support Specialist will serve as an integral role in ensuring Alpha's technology systems perform exceptionally well. The IT Support will have a high comfort level with technology and be able to troubleshoot issues, learn computer programs quickly, and be adept at collecting and analyzing data. The IT Support will have a strong customer service approach. Additionally, the IT Support will value communication with all Alpha staff members and collaborating effectively as part of a team.

IT Support Specialist is expected to:

 * Create configurations and manage Apple devices in Jamf MDM
 * Perform remote support on macOS software
 * Asset tracking and inventory of hardware
 * Setup and manage Chromebooks on an enterprise scale
 * Manage and troubleshoot Verizon hotspots
 * Basic maintenance of projectors/document cameras/Apple TV
 * Manage VoIP phone system
 * Troubleshoot various Google Apps including Gmail/Google Drive/Google Sites
 * Manage school website via Google Sites, as well as WordPress
 * Ability to research complex problems and develop cost effective solutions; strong analytical skills
 * Create and manage tickets for addressing hardware and software issues in Freshdesk
 * Assess and recommend software and hardware solutions
 * Provide advanced support and/or hands-on assistance to staff
 * Maintain clear documentation for internal projects and troubleshooting guides
