## Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Technician for a contract opportunity in Van Nuys, CA within the aerospace and defense industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical support professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting end users, maintaining reliable IT systems, and contributing to a high-performance technology environment.

The IT Technician will play a key role in keeping hardware, software, operating systems, networks, and peripheral devices running efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional, mission-focused environment where technical accuracy, responsiveness, teamwork, and service quality are highly valued. Candidates can expect exposure to a broad range of IT support responsibilities, supportive collaboration with senior IT resources, and the opportunity to make a visible impact on daily business operations., * Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripheral equipment.

 * Provide responsive technical support to end users, including guidance, training, issue resolution, and technology assistance.
 * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and user-related technical problems through root-cause analysis and effective corrective action.
 * Deploy new hardware, software, and technology solutions in alignment with organizational standards and established IT procedures.
 * Perform preventive maintenance, routine servicing, system updates, and equipment checks to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
 * Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel while maintaining communication, tracking, and follow-through through resolution., AppleOne participates in the E-Verify program in certain locations as required by law. Learn more about the E-Verify program.
