As part of our Build and Release Management team, you'll own the future of how Cboe tests and delivers software - defining where our engineering practice is headed, architecting a next-generation CI/CD pipeline, and embedding AI across the DevOps lifecycle. At the heart of this role is Cboe Titanium (Cboe Ti), our high-performance, globally consistent and locally optimized exchange platform designed to support Cboe's trading operations across options, futures, and equities markets worldwide. You'll be a key driver in shaping how Cboe Ti is built, tested, and released and ensure the platform continues to meet the exacting demands of global markets with speed, precision, and reliability. This is a hands-on and highly technical role focusing on managing the software build process, providing oversight for build/test environments, developing and supporting testing tools and status dashboards, influencing and shaping our continuous integration process, and ensuring our weekly release process is successful. You'll set the standard for what great looks like at a company where reliability is measured in microseconds and releases happen every week. Your responsibilities will be: * Define and drive the vision for Cboe's build and release engineering practice - from pipeline architecture to tooling strategy to long-term roadmap * Lead AI adoption across the DevOps lifecycle - deploying intelligent automation for changelog generation, incident summarization, deployment workflows, and infrastructure-as-code generation. Not just using AI tools, but building with them * Architect, evolve, and own a high-performance CI/CD pipeline that supports weekly production releases to mission-critical financial systems * Champion an automation-first culture - if a human is doing it repeatedly, build something smarter * Oversee build, test, and release environments end-to-end, with a relentless focus on reliability, observability, and rapid recovery * Develop and maintain testing tools, dashboards, and status reporting that give engineers the visibility they need to move fast with confidence * Collaborate across engineering teams to influence software design for testability, deployability, and operational excellence, serving as a trusted advisor and thought leader who actively extends best practices to other groups, technologies, and applications across the enterprise * Stay ahead of the curve - continuously evaluate and introduce emerging technologies that keep Cboe's engineering practice at the leading edge, At Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and market-informed total rewards program. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $110,500-$143,000, with actual compensation determined by job-related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location. This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe's long-term equity programs. ## Related Videos - [Code to Road in < 12 hours](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1082-code-to-road-in-12-hours) - [Collaboration Quantified: Lessons from Open Source Developer Networks](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1422-collaboration-quantified-lessons-from-open-source-developer-networks) - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Agentic employees in world's most downloaded FinTech app](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100123-agentic-employees-in-world-s-most-downloaded-fintech-app) - [GitOps for the people](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/815-gitops-for-the-people) - [Integrate your Cognitive Assistant with 3rd-party DBs and software](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/249-integrate-your-cognitive-assistant-with-3rd-party-dbs-and-software) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [What is Software Engineering in the Age of AI?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/640-what-is-software-engineering-in-the-age-of-ai) - [Now is the time for industrialized software development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/601-now-is-the-time-for-industrialized-software-development) - [How to Answer the Interview Question: “Why Do You Want to Be a Software Engineer?”](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/392-how-to-answer-the-interview-question-why-do-you-want-to-be-a-software-engineer) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Best US AI Conferences for CTOs in 2026: Build vs. Buy, Vendor Evaluation, and Peer Intelligence](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/736-best-us-ai-conferences-for-ctos-in-2026-build-vs-buy-vendor-evaluation-and-peer-intelligence)
